Today's Agent Skill: Monthly Customer Newsletter Drafter

What It Does

A monthly email newsletter keeps your customers thinking about you between purchases — but most small business owners either never send one or spend hours they don't have writing it. This skill compiles your business updates, announcements, and highlights into a polished newsletter draft in minutes.

How It Works

The agent takes your list of updates for the month — new products, upcoming events, customer stories, tips, promotions — and structures them into a complete newsletter: welcome note, main story, quick updates section, and a closing call to action. It writes in your business voice and formats the output for direct use in Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or any email marketing tool.

How to Deploy It

Add the SKILL.md to your agent's skills folder and invoke it at the end of each month with your updates list. Works with Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and Windsurf. To automate the gathering step, keep a running Notion page or Google Doc throughout the month and feed it directly to the skill on send day.
